My heartfelt views are as follows.

THE ECONOMY:

The deficit. “I think if we give Glenn Beck the numbers, he can solve the national debt.” I will appoint Mr. Beck to be the economics czar! He will fix it in a week!

Abolish the minimum wage. “Literally, if we took away the minimum wage — if conceivably it was gone — we could potentially virtually wipe out unemployment completely because we would be able to offer jobs at whatever level.” I am sure I could get people to fight over a job paying $5 a day!

Jobs: If we cut the taxes of the rich and corporations, the rich will continue to remain employed! 

''I don't know where they're going to get all this money because we're running out of rich people in this country.'' 

THE WAR:

"Visiting Iraq is like a trip to Mall of America! There is marble and water everywhere." Mission Accomplished!

THE HEALTH:

“Normalization” of homosexuality would lead to “desensitization”

 ‘Do you know that the music for The Lion King movie was written by a gay man?’ The message is: I’m better at what I do, because I’m gay.”

Gay singers should repent after getting cancer.

"And what a bizarre time we're in, when a judge will say to little children that you can't say the pledge of allegiance, but you must learn that homosexuality is normal and you should try it."

''Does that mean that someone's 13-year-old daughter could walk into a sex clinic, have a pregnancy test done, be taken away to the local Planned Parenthood abortion clinic, have their abortion, be back and go home on the school bus? That night, mom and dad are never the wiser.'' 

 

''Death panels are the bureaucracies that President Obama is establishing where bureaucrats will make the decision on who gets health care and how much.

THE SCIENCE:  

"I don't think I give as much credence to my own mind, because I see myself as being very limited and very flawed, and lacking in knowledge and wisdom and understanding. So, I just take the Bible for what it is, I guess, and recognize that I am not a scientist, not trained to be a scientist. I'm not a deep thinker on all of this. I wish I was. I wish I was more knowledgeable, but I'm not a scientist." They try to blind me with science!

“Carbon dioxide is portrayed as harmful. But there isn't even one study that can be produced that shows that carbon dioxide is a harmful gas.”

''Carbon dioxide is natural, it is not harmful, it is a part of Earth's life cycle. And yet we're being told that we have to reduce this natural substance, reduce the American standard of living, to create an arbitrary reduction in something that is naturally occurring in Earth.'' 

“There are hundreds and hundreds of scientists, many of them holding Nobel Prizes, who believe in intelligent design."

THE HISTORY:

I think it is high time that we recognize the contribution of our for-bearers who worked tirelessly -- men like John Quincy Adams, who would not rest until slavery was extinguished in the country.'' I am smarter than Palin even though the founding fathers did not fight against slavery nor was Adams a founding father, opps.

THE CULTURE:

"Not all cultures are equal." If you are not white and male, your nothing!

"Congressional liberals ought to be subject to "an expose" by the media because of their views." Conservatives do not need to be exposed and anyone that does not think just the way I do is a hieratic!

A Warning for Women and Those who Love Them!

­"Republicans want smaller government with less control over our personal lives."

Conservatives want  nothing short of ideologica­l control of lives - control over women in particular­.

Republicans want to criminalize abortion but at the same time they want to eliminate funding for all the programs that help poor mothers and children. They deny women the ability to control how many children they have then also deny them the help they need to raise the children they have. It all comes down to their desire to control women and keep them dependent. stem from a set of basic and consistent religious principles that have long been at the heart of conservative, Republican politics.

Women need to have more children and they need to be prevented from having any sort of control over when they get pregnant or how often they get pregnant. At the same time, they must be denied any assistance (public assistance, as opposed to faith-based assistance from churches where aid can be tied to accepting traditional Christian ideas about women's social roles) in raising those kids, educating those kids, or keeping those kids healthy. This is their idea of to force women to abandon their rebellion against God and men. 

Once they abandon their feminist rebellion, they will recognize their true place at the feet of the men in their lives. Once they take the learn their place in society, men will also learn their place and then all of society will be healthy again. The economy will be right again, politics will be right again, and all will be good with the world. In this way, practically everything that's wrong with the world is attributed one way or another to women failing to adhere to the traditional social roles that Christianity demands. In effect, women and feminism are to blame for everything and thus putting them in their place is the solution to everything.

Republicans are anti personal freedom. They only support freedom of corporations to control the world. They want people censored so people will be good sheep. They want to take our rights away...

Liquid Glass Super Protective Coating

Invention starts when someone takes a thought and makes it work. This is what Apple did when they saw the graphical user interface (GUI) proposed by Xerox. It didn't actually work but not knowing that, they designed the Apple OS.

"SiO2- ultra thin layering” is the technical term for Liquid Glass.

The flexible and breathable glass coating is approximately 100 nanometers thick (500 times thinner than a human hair), and so it is completely undetectable. It is food safe, environmentally friendly and it can be applied to almost any surface within seconds . When coated, all surfaces become easy to clean and anti-microbially protected. Houses, cars, ovens, proctologist or any other protected surface become stain resistant and can be easily cleaned with water; no cleaning chemicals are required.

But wait! That's not all, there's more!

Items such as stents can be coated, and this will create anti sticking features. Catheters and sutures which are a source of infection, will also cease to be problematic.

Vines coated with SiO2 don’t suffer from mildew, and coated seeds grow more rapidly without the need for anti-fungal chemicals.

How the technology works, is in essence, they extract molecules of SiO2 (the primary constituent of glass) from quartz sand, and then we add the molecules to water or ethanol. The really clever part is that there are no added nano-particles, resins or additives. The coatings form and bond due to quantum forces.

WTF! this scenario was in a sci-fi story years ago. An old farm house, covered in a tough protective layer, like glass, never aged as it stood the many decades it housed the extraterrestrial. 

This is not science fiction! Very soon almost everything you buy will have this coating. This technology is now available for domestic use in Germany. Full scale retail availability in the UK will commence in early 2010. 

As for the US, what do you want to bet me that some "Special Interest Group, LLC" will fight this to save or make $ no matter the cost or harm done to the public.

Artificial spider Hair Surfaces with a Nearly Perfect water sheding ability.

Engineering researchers Shu-Hau Hsu and Wolfgang M. Sigmund have created what they say is a “nearly perfect hydrophobic interface” by borrowing from another of nature’s wonders - spiders. By reproducing, on small bits of plastic, the shape and patterns of the minute hairs that grow on the bodies of spiders the researchers have created what may be among, if not the, most water-phobic surface yet. 

The potential applications for the ultra-water-repellent surface developed at the University of Florida , Go Gaters, are many. When water scampers off the surface it picks up and carries dirt with it, in effect making the surface self-cleaning.

Unlike many water-repelling surfaces, this one relies entirely on the microscopic shape and patterns of the material — rather than its composition.

 In other words, physics, not chemistry, is what makes it water repellent. Theoretically, that means the technique could transform even the most water-sopping materials – say, sponges – into water-shedding ones. It also means that Sigmund’s surfaces need never slough off dangerous chemicals. Provided the surface material itself is made safe, making it water repellent introduces no new risks.

The surface works equally well with hot or cold water and Sigmund says a variation of the surface also repels oil, a first for the industry.

While inexpensive, it is hard to produce successful surfaces with great reliability, and different techniques need to be developed to make the surfaces in commercially available quantities and size, Sigmund said. Also, he said, more research is needed to make the surfaces hardy and resistant to damage.
